A Young Captain's Challenge is a quest in 异度神剑. It can be received from 队长 Emmy Leater north of the Military District in Colony 9. It is the fourth and final quest of four quests given by Emmy Leater.
The quest has two paths, in which the party must choose between getting her a 诺彭 Claymore or a Carbo 盾. If the 诺彭 Claymore is chosen, Miller will offer A Young Captain's Revival upon completion of this quest; otherwise, A Young Captain's Trust will be offered. Both routes will result in a loss of 牵绊 with Colony 9
Objectives
Give her either a 诺彭 Claymore or a Carbo 盾; only one can be chosen.
诺彭 Claymore route (A route):
- "Talk to the 诺彭 商人 at Sororal Statues in Satorl Marsh."
- Note: After the events at Mechonis Core, he will move to the 诺彭 商人 Camp, but the objective detail does not change.
- "Collect 4 pieces of Bunnia Scent Wood."
- Hint: Trade with Bo卡卡 (☆1) at the 诺彭 商人 Camp
- "Return to the 诺彭 商人 to receive the 诺彭 Claymore."
- "Return to Emmy Leater."
Carbo 盾 route (B route):
- "Find a Carbo 盾."
- Hint: Storage area north of the Colony 6 main entrance.
- "Return to Emmy Leater."
Results
The results will change depending on which route was chosen:
- 诺彭 Claymore route: "She takes the test, but wins in a dishonourable fashion."
- Carbo 盾 route: "Holding the Carbo 盾, she takes the test, but fails miserably."
