A Young Captain's Suffering is a quest in 异度神剑. It can be received from 队长 Emmy Leater north of the Military District in Colony 9 once Tephra Cave is accessible after the Mechon attack. Three Wing Vangs can be found flying above the Spring of Grief.
It is the second of four quests given by Emmy Leater. If Reyn is in the active party, he will comment. Upon completion, Emmy Leater may offer A Young Captain's Rise.
Objectives
- "Defeat 5 Wing Vangs in Tephra Cave."
- "Return to Emmy Leater."
Results
"You really helped Emmy Leater out. She'll be entrusted with more 任务 from now on."

Misspelling
Although the in-game text for this quest refers to "Wing Vang", when the creatures appear in Tephra Cave, their name is spelled as "Wind Vang". This mistake is corrected in the New 3DS and 开关 versions of 异度神剑.
