Reyn's Sheer Determination skill shared with Shulk, costing seven 牵绊 Coins
牵绊 Coins are a game Mechanic of 异度神剑. They are used to set up skill links between 其它 characters. The more complicated and useful the skill, the more 牵绊 coins it will cost to link it.
They are obtained when a character levels up and can also be obtained when defeating any Unique Monster for the first time in a given playthrough. Nevertheless slaying the same Monster again will not give additional 牵绊 Coins. However, in New Game +, the 牵绊 Coin is carried over, and one can slay the same Unique Monster in the New Game + playthrough for an additional Coin. Therefore a maximum of 255 牵绊 coins can be obtained for the first playthrough; 98 when a character levels up from 1 to 99, and 157 when defeating the Unique Monster for the first time in the first given playthrough. Then 157 new 牵绊 Coins can be obtained in the following New Game + playthrough, until reaching the maximum of 999 牵绊 Coins.
Notes
- When starting a New Game + and if the party members are all at Level 99, Fiora 加入 in the beginning of the game with the same number of 牵绊 Coins but with the Level she had when she was apparently killed by Metal Face during the normal playthrough. Each new Level she reaches, will give her an extra 牵绊 Coin. This means Fiora can have more 牵绊 Coins than the 其它 characters when controlled in the beginning of the game.
- However, a kind of glitch can frequently appear in a New Game + playthrough, when Fiora earns a new 牵绊 Coin after defeating a Unique Monster in the beginning of the game, then by saving and reloading the game, this extra 牵绊 Coin can be lost. Discovering a new Landmark after defeating the Unique Monster and before saving the game usually avoids the bug. Another solution is to kill the Unique Monster(s) with Shulk just before Fiora 加入 the party.
