Ardainian Nippers are Quest Exclusive 敌人 in 异度神剑 2. They are dog-like creatures of the Ardainian Soldier group, and can be found at level 30 - 33 throughout Mor Ardain's Hardhaigh Palace during the Blade quest Newt Recruits. Defeating them is not required for the quest. They can be fought at level 26 and 44 during Challenge Battles, available as downloadable content from the Challenge Battle Mode Pack of the Expansion Pass.
