Art icon for attacks that inflict Blowdown
Blowdown is a reaction status in 异度神剑 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. It tosses targets backwards into the air, interrupting their current attack and momentarily preventing them from attacking while they get back up. It 破防 targets for longer than 击退 and takes priority over it. It can be inflicted by certain Battle Arts, Blade Specials and 异刃连击 Effects, and by some 敌人 attacks.
The effect of the Blowdown reaction depends on the art or special, with different attacks having varying levels of Blowdown. The larger the level of Blowdown and the smaller the target, the farther they will be flung back, staggering them for a greater duration of time.
Certain 敌人 have resistance or immunity to the status. The animations of certain 敌人 arts can prevent them from being blown back, represented by a "No effect" appearing above the pink reaction tag.
Applying Seal Blowdown will prevent 敌人 from inflicting the reaction, forcing their art effects to fail.
Resistance to the reaction can be increased by equipping the Blowdown Resist Aux Core to engaged Blades. It can be dispelled by the Nullify Reaction Blade Art and Aegaeon's Becalm Rear 防守 Art, however this will not result in the Driver regaining balance any faster.
