Nia 正在接近 a Collection Point

Collection Points are a Mechanic and locations in 异度神剑 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. They are localized points across the Titans of Alrest where the party can collect valuable items known as Collectibles. These collectible items can be used in quests, for unlocking certain Blade's abilities, for refining Aux Cores and for crafting helpful items. Collection Points are visible from a distance, and they appear as a blue light from far away. When the party is close to one, a blue shovel icon appears above the point, and the party can begin collecting.

Each individual Collection Point has a set of up to four possible collectibles it can supply, and these are collected in groups of two to eight items at a time, depending on the spot. Returning back to a specific location will always yield the same items. Using Skip Travel will reset all empty Collection Points, allowing for easy farming of items in areas close to landmarks.

Mechanical Collectibles can only be acquired through Salvaging at Salvage Points.

Field Skill Bonuses

Certain Blades have specific Field Skills which allows them to help in the collecting process when they are engaged in the party. This allows for a larger number of items to obtained from a Collection Point, making it easier to obtain rarer items. No more than three Blades can contribute at a time. The chance that an engaged Blade has to contribute depends on their Field Skill's level, with Level 3 or higher assuring that the Blade will always provide help on relevant spots.

Field Skill Level 1 60%
Field Skill Level 2 80%
Field Skill Level 3 + 100%

While a Collection Point typically awards a group of up to 8 collectibles (depending on the Collection Point), each Blade that contributes to the process will result in an additional group of items to be dropped. Up to a maximum of three additional groups of collectibles can be uncovered at a time, allowing for up to 32 items to be picked up from a single extraction.

Collection Point Types / Field Skills

Each Collection Point has a specific type that determines which Field Skill contributes to its interaction. The most common collectibles found on them generally, but not always, match the same category as the type, however items of 复数部位 collectible categories can be obtained from a single spot. These are usually found scattered in contextual locations around the world.

In Torna ~ The Golden Country

An old 机, for mechanical items

Collection Points function identically to those in 异度神剑 2 for the most part, although they are visibly labelled according to item type. An icon next to the shovel mark will display the required Field Skill, and each spot will only drop collectibles of that type or category. They are also colored differently depending on the rarity of their collectibles, with golden colored spots usually providing items of higher grade.

Two new Collection Point types are also introduced:

  • 以太 Miasmas, which must be dispersed by the combined power of Haze's "Manipulate Ether" and Mythra's "Power of Light" skills. They are usually found surrounded by 敌人, and upon being dispersed they leave behind a purple colored spot that yields a mix of 敌人 Parts and 其它 miscellaneous collectibles.
  • Old 机, which can only be accessed after completing the quest Seeking a Seeker, and yield Mechanical collectibles. Old 机 are classed as either "Old machine", requiring a Silver Seeker to access, or "Large old machine", requiring a Golden Seeker but yielding rarer items. They usually award more items than a regular collection point.
