Despotic Arsene (Japanese: 暴帝のアルセーヌ, Bōtei no Arusēnu) is one of the five Superbosses in 异度神剑. It is a Unique Monster and a member of the Bunnia family; it can be found at level 108 north of the Glowing Obelisk landmark in Satorl Marsh. As with most of the 其它 Superbosses, the Despotic Arsene appears after the events at the Mechonis Core. It is surrounded by weaker Bunnias, which are only level 20. It possesses no 以太 attacks.
Arsene is the only 敌人 in the game that drops Critical Up crystals; a crystal type that cannot be found in any 以太 deposit. It can also drop Bunnia Scent Wood, which is needed both for one route of A Young Captain's Challenge and for Colony 6 Reconstruction, but it is not the only source.
