The 部门 selection screen
部门 are Mechanic in 异度神剑X. They are known as Unions in the Japanese version. There are eight different 部门 within BLADE, each with their own objectives and support effects. Mission details can change based on Cross's choice of 部门, or the Division's membership of a party member. Cross is allowed to freely 开关 her/his affiliation, for a fee, while it is fixed for the 其它 characters.
「解」 of 部门 affects the rate by which 部门 Points are earned, which in turn adds points to increasing BLADE Level. It is also possible to receive 部门 Support from scouted BLADEs, being in the same region as 其它 players of a 部门, or from requesting the support from a player NPC, which grants temporary bonuses in combat.

部门
百晓部: They pioneer and survey 米拉's various locations, and collect materials. Their 部门 support increases critical hit rate (会心精通). 部门 Points are boosted through obtaining collectibles and defeating 珍稀种.
猎鹰部: Their goal is to defeat dangerous Monster. Their 部门 support experiences a boost in damage dealt by melee arts (格斗精通), including melee arts used by 远程武器, such as 突击锤. 部门 Points are boosted through defeating 敌人, especially 珍稀种.
截击部: They are in charge of creature subjugation. They are also bodyguards for the survey teams and rescue NLA citizens. Unlike the 猎鹰部, which make preemptive 攻击, the 截击部 are described as "More of a defense". Their 部门 support experiences a boost in damage dealt by ranged arts (射击精通). 部门 Points are boosted through defeating 敌人 and completing 任务.
- 居委会: They aim to resolve problems between citizens of NLA. Their 部门 support can restore Tension Points (TP支援). 部门 Points are boosted through completing 任务 and training scouted BLADEs.
- 军械部: They support the development of the 军械公司, developers of 武器 for both Dolls and infantry. Their 部门 support receives boosts in commercial points (企业支援), which go towards Doll and 武器 development. 部门 Points are boosted through leveling up 军械公司 and earning R&D points.
- 开拓部: They are pioneers and trailblazers in charge of establishing 数据探针 to expand the 开拓网络. Their 部门 support experiences HP recovery (HP支援). 部门 Points are boosted through planting 数据探针 and discovering locations.
- 勘探部: They aim to maintain peoples' livelihoods by exploring 米拉 and securing resources. Their main duty is collecting 矿石. Their 部门 support takes less damage from 敌人 attacks (防御支援). 部门 Points are boosted through mining 米拉矿石 and discovering locations.
- 回收部: They search for and recover parts of the 白鲸 and 生命舱 scattered about 米拉, and recover lost items from the battlefield. Their 部门 support makes the party more likely to receive items from 敌人 drops (掉落感应器). 部门 Points are boosted through retrieving 白鲸 残骸 and planting 数据探针.
