Egil's Theme (エギル, Egil) is an Event Track in 异度神剑, composed and arranged by Manami Kiyota. It is track 1 of disc 2 from the 异度神剑 Original Soundtrack. This music is a dark, ominous theme that is heard in the following cutscenes:
- Alvis reports to Emperor Sorean on Shulk and the Monado, at which time the court decides on the trial of the tomb for Melia
- The titular Egil's command to "commence the 袭击 on Bionis"
- kallian and Alvis inform the party when Sorean has already left for Prison Island
- Aftermath of Skyray battle on Central Seal Island
- Reyn asks Shulk about his vision after arriving at Prison Island
- Alvis meets with Zanza after the latter's supposed death at Prison Terrace
- Shulk's vision of Fiora/Face 世界BOSS falling from Galahad Fortress
- Dickson and Kallian confer in Alcamoth's Audience Chamber after news of Galahad Fortress' collapse
- Shulk and Fiora's second Mechon 奇袭作战 in Ulna Passage on the Fallen Arm
- Egil erases Jade Face's memories
- Alvis' warning to Kallian about the Mechonis' awakening during the Allied Force's advance on Sword Valley
Even though the theme has Egil's name in the title, there are many cutscenes in which this music plays where Egil has little if any involvement in the scenes.
