狂暴化 is an enemy-exclusive buff in 异度神剑X, 异度神剑 2, and Torna ~ The Golden Country. It is comparable to the Crazed status from 异度神剑.
异度神剑X
The 狂暴化 status increases the stats of the 敌人 under its effects, and may have bonus effects for certain species. The majority of 敌人 species can gain this buff when their Hit Points have been reduced to a low amount or an appendage has been destroyed. A few 敌人 species cannot become 狂暴化. The buff can wear off after enough time has passed.
When 狂暴化 becomes active, the 敌人 will play a special animation before resuming its attacks. 狂暴化 is marked by a unique particle effect on the 敌人 consisting of black ashes and red bolts of lightning rising around the 敌人.
狂暴化 will not activate whilst the 敌人 is suffering from 吹飞, 击退, 畏惧, 昏迷, 破防, 倒地, 睡眠, or 魂控.
异度神剑 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country
The 狂暴化 status enhances the ability of the 敌人 under its effects (such as gaining boosts to stats, dealing more damage, gaining a counterspike, and more), and allows certain 敌人 to unleash stronger arts. The majority of 敌人 species can gain this buff when their Hit Points have been reduced to less than half, or after using a specific art. Kindred 敌人 might also enrage in response to 其它 getting the status. Many enemies' element will change after becoming 狂暴化.
A few stationary 敌人 species cannot become 狂暴化, such as Nests, Pods, Parisax Eggs and Symbols. With the exception of special encounters such as bosses, some quest exclusive 敌人 and some Unique Monster, most 敌人 below level 25 cannot become 狂暴化.
When the 狂暴化 aura becomes active, a unique particle effect briefly surrounds the 敌人 consisting of red flames circling around the 敌人. From version 1.5.0 onwards, a red pulsating icon will appear next to the enemy's name once it has become 狂暴化.
It can be dispelled by Corvin's Level 2 Blade Special "Lacerna Noctis".
Rage 攻击
Exclusively on Bringer of Chaos difficulty, 狂暴化 敌人 may unleash a Rage 攻击. This status effect powers up the first art used by the 敌人 after enraging, multiplying its damage by 300%.
Every time this powerful art connects with a party member, it will also drain the party gauge by half a bar segment (50 points). If an 敌人 is capable of enraging 复数部位 times, then it can also use Rage 攻击 复数部位 times per battle.
