Eryth Sea

The future doesn't belong to you!
For those who have not completed games in the 异度神剑 series, this page contains spoilers regarding the plot. Discretion is advised.

The Eryth Sea (Japanese: エルト海, Eruto-kai; English dub: /ˈɛrᵻθ/) is a great sea located on the Bionis' neck protrusions in 异度神剑, though the head is visible. The many floating islands are connected by transporters. Shulk and his friends arrive here in search of the tower from Shulk's vision.

After the cutscene involving Sorean releasing the seal on Zanza on Prison Island, the weather on Eryth Sea, Alcamoth and Prison Island will all transition to a permanent thunderstorm on a random hour of when the next weather change occurs in the game, if the weather isn't already thunderstorm. Changing the time in the game will instantly make the weather change to thunderstorm. The permanent thunderstorm weather effect will remain in Eryth Sea, Alcamoth and Prison Island until after defeating Metal Face.

After the events of Mechonis Core, Eryth Sea becomes filled with 特雷西亚.

Story

This sea is the home of the High Entia. The sky seen in Makna Forest is the sea itself. From time to time, part of the water reaches Valak Mountain on the 右臂 of Bionis, which is the reason of the relentless blizzards of the region. This area is known for its apparent 流星雨, which are actually condensed 以太 falling from the sky. The High Entia capital, Alcamoth, lies 暂停一阵子 above the sea.

The sea can be reached by use of a transport from the top of Frontier Village (but conversely Frontier Village is not accessible). After reaching Eryth Sea, Melia leads the party through several transporters and isles, until finally arriving at the capital's transporter. There, they are received by a group of High Entia soldiers who greet Melia, and call her "Lady", which 迷惑 the party.

After the reawakening of Bionis, a group of fleeing High Entia uses the 以太 Plant and the Syrath Lighthouse as refuges.
