以太 Defence Down (also called 以太 Def Down) is a Debuff in 异度神剑. It reduces the target's 以太 Defence, thereby increasing the damage received from 以太 attacks.
When inflicted on a party member, the character's 以太 defence is reduced by a percentage. For example, if the character's 以太 defence is 200, an 以太 Def Down 25% debuff would reduce it to 150, causing him to take an extra 50 points of damage from 以太 attacks.
When inflicted on an 敌人, the debuff's percentage is subtracted from the enemy's 以太 defence percentage, possibly reducing it below zero. For example, if one enemy's 以太 defence is 80% and another's is 25%, inflicting 以太 Def Down 50% would reduce their 以太 defence to 30% and -25% respectively.
