Gold, more commonly abbreviated as G, is the currency in the worlds of 异度神剑 and 异度神剑 2. The party will receive gold for completing quests, and can also obtain gold by selling items at shops.
异度神剑

An armour purchase screen at a shop
The party can receive gold for completing quests, and can also obtain gold by selling items at shops. The sell price listed on armour, 武器, and 其它 item pages is the amount that is received when that item is sold at a shop. The sell price of armour and 武器 with empty slots is increased by 20% for each slot; a 武器 with 3 slots is worth 60% more than the same 武器 with no slots.
Riki's Buy Stuff! skill increases the selling price of all items by 20%. This bonus is received even if he is not in the active party. In the case of slotted 武器 and armour, the bonus is 20% of the normal sell price of the slotted item. For example, if a 武器 with 3 slots has a sell price of 160 G, Riki's Buy Stuff! skill will raise it to (160x1.2) = 192 G.
When buying items at a shop, the purchase price for items is 10 times the selling price of the identical item. For example, a Nine Top with one slot can be sold for 96 G, but will cost 960 G when purchased at a shop. The purchase price is not affected by Riki's Buy Stuff! skill.
If an item in a store is blacked out, the selected character is not able to use it. If the item name and price is in red, the player does not have enough gold to buy the item.
异度神剑 2
The party can earn gold from defeating 敌人, completing quests, and selling items at shops.
The amount of gold used or earned from a transaction at a shop varies based on the Development Level of the Nation the shop is located in. At 0 stars, the sell price of an item is half its purchase price. As the Development Level of the nation rises, the purchase price of items in shops decreases.
