Max is an NPC in 异度神剑 2. Max is an ardainian who can be found at Argentum Bazaar in the Argentum Trade Guild's Goldmouth. He runs a Courier service, which Rex can use to send money to his aunt Corinne.
Rex must interact with him to send money to Corinne during the Story Quest Big Job Preparations. Rex interacts with Max again during Time is Money.
