The Mechon M72 is a story exclusive Mechon in 异度神剑. It appears at level 5 during the Mechon raid on Colony 9. It is fought only during the second round of the second story event battle at Central Plaza. It does not drop any 秘宝 Chest, does not grant any EXP or AP for defeating them.
There are three 其它 versions of this Mechon M72, another story exclusive variant fought during the third story event battle at the Main Entrance, a normal variant in Colony 9, and a story exclusive variant fought during the prologue event in Sword Valley.

Mechon M72
The Mechon M72 has very similar appearances to Mechon M63 with the exception of the bulky, bulb-like extension on its arm instead of a rotating 爪击.

Trivia
- In cutscenes, Mechon M72 are the 将军 variety seen, and seem to be one of the main "shock troops" of the Mechon race. However, in actual gameplay terms, players are usually more likely to face Mechon M63 instead.
