Monado Eater is one of Shulk's Monado arts in 异度神剑. The colour of the blade darkens and charges corrosive dark 以太 particles. This allows Shulk to fire a blast at the 敌人 in front in a cone area. On impact the attack will deal 以太 damage, remove buffs, and inflict Bleed on the targeted 敌人.

- Bleed damage is 20% of the attack's initial damage every two seconds.
Trivia
- Shulk will learn Monado Eater by obtaining an ancient book from King Agni's Tomb. The area is only accessible by completing a series of four quests given by Lupa in Frontier Village, starting with Mystery of Makna Ruins 1 and finishing with Mystery of Makna Ruins 4.
- The symbol that appears on the Monado when Monado Eater is activated is the kanji "喰", which literally means "to eat (a prey)". Eater thus is one of the only few arts that has a kanji that literally translates to its skill.
- Monado Eater, alongside the Monado arts Cyclone, Jail, Armour, and Buster, is used by Malos in 异度神剑 2.
