The Path of Absolution (Japanese: 清めの道, Kiyome no Michi) is a location in 异度神剑. It is located on the second floor of Tephra Cave. It is an elevated area reachable by going west after climbing the vines on Vilia Lake after the events at the Mechonis Core. The only way to get here is by passing through the Arachno Feeding Lair. A quest item, the Sacrificial Tablet, can be found here.
History
The Path of Absolution was the path taken by sacrificial victims sent by the Giants to the White Spiders in order to appease them after the death of the Giant Soothsayer. The tablets lining the walls of the tunnel are in memory of those who were sacrificed to the White Spiders.
