Rage, Darkness of the Heart (怒り、心の闇, Anger, Darkness of the Heart) is an Event Track in 异度神剑, composed and arranged by Manami Kiyota. It is track 11 of disc 2 from the 异度神剑 Original Soundtrack. This music is a dark, sad theme that is heard in the following cutscenes:
- The entrance to the 武器 Development Lab blocked off to the party due to debris from the Mechon invasion
- Metal Face and the Mechon retreat after their raid on Colony 9
- Otharon relates the tale of Gadolt's fate to Sharla and the rest of the party
- Xord's final destruction in the 以太 Mine
- Egil and a brainwashed Face 世界BOSS corner the party in the Fortress Depths of Galahad Fortress
- Fiora/Meyneth tells the party she can break Egil's hold on Gadolt
- Egil rejects Meyneth and sets Agniratha to 自毁 as he retreats to the Mechonis Core to take 魂控 of the Mechonis himself
- Shulk's final defeat of Egil at the Mechonis Core and subsequent refusal to kill him
- Lorithia turns kallian and his Havres squadron into 特雷西亚
- Dickson's final defeat and death at Prison Island
