M88/RAPIDs are two story exclusive Mechon 敌人 in 异度神剑. They can be found at level 64 at the Tower Boarding Gate in Central Factory, accompanied by two level 61 M36/FAIRYs. They only appear during a story event battle when the party approaches the elevator to floor 4F. Each M88/RAPID is grouped with a M36/FAIRY. M88/RAPIDs drop no 秘宝 Chest but M36/FAIRYs may drop a silver or gold one.

Notes
- A M36/FAIRY's 秘宝 chest may be dropped after defeating a M88/RAPID if the former one was killed first.
- The track "An Obstacle in Our Path" is heard during this story event battle against the M88/RAPIDs. However if the M88/RAPIDs are defeated and at least one M36/FAIRY remains, the music change with the track "Irregular Bound" since this 敌人 is a minor normal one.
