A 角鸮

角鸮 (Japanese: サルタート, Sarutāto) are 敌人 in 异度神剑X. They are large bird-like creatures with horn-shaped heads similar to 暴鸮.

Description

"Though flightless, these avians make their homes at high elevations, preying on fish and crustaceans that they suck into their trumpet-like mouths. Relatively intelligent creatures, some 角鸮 are known to also display a penchant for combat."

"During mating season, 男性 blow 彩虹 bubbles as a way to attract a mate. They then perform a frenzied dance of courtship as the bubbles drift. Failure to impress will dash all prospects of mating, spurring young 男性 to improve themselves by learning at the feet of senior 角鸮. The relationship is mutually beneficial, with disciples blowing bubbles to help their tutors' own romantic endeavors. Even after gaining nests of their own, they continue to look after their aging masters."

Variants

角鸮 have two color variants, with either red or blue feathers along the edges of the wings.

They are further distinguished by having one of four possible jewels on their chest, which may be dropped when defeated:

• 金宝石 is gold-colored.
• 恶魔宝石 is dark silver with an embossed design.
• 空宝石 has streaks of blue and silver.
• 星河宝石 is silvery with a bright center, and emits small star-like particles.
