They fill the Party Gauge by a certain amount when the wearer has an "Excellent" performance on the Button Challenge of a Special. The amount filled with the legendary variant is 24, which is roughly a quarter of a gauge segment.
The Crystal Earrings accessory offers a stronger instance of this equipment's effect.
