灵长猿

灵长猿 (Japanese: シミウス, Shimiusu; English dub: /ˈsɪm.i.əs/) are large, four-armed simian creatures found on 米拉 in 异度神剑X. The term 灵长猿 is both singular and plural.

灵长猿 Bear a loose resemblance to 腔鸣猿 and a strong resemblance to Gogols, although the latter are not present in 异度神剑X.

Description

"Omnivorous creatures that are as smart as Earth's gorilla, and that live in groups consisting of a single 男性 with 复数部位女性 mates."

"Though prideful and 恶毒 in temper, 男性 will generally keep their groups away from stronger ones. However, chance encounters between two sets of 灵长猿 will inevitably result in a clash. To minimize such 对立, 男性 that sight an unfamiliar group will unleash a series of 咆哮. If superiority can be established, the weaker of the two 男性 will alter course. But if neither concedes, a duel to the death will ensue. As the victor claims the 女性 of the vanquished 男性, group size is usually proportionate to a leader's strength."

Characteristics

灵长猿 Are massive baboon-like creatures with four muscled arms. They have four eyes to go along with their arms. Colored hair covers their tail, head, and lower arms. Their ugly mugs have sharp teeth protruding from their lower jaw.

When not fighting, 灵长猿 can be seen wandering around, sitting and eating, or sleeping and loudly snoring.

Color Variants

灵长猿 fall into three color variants:

A red-haired variant found in 原初荒野 and dropping the 灵长猿红鬃毛.
A green-haired variant found in 夜光森林 and dropping the 灵长猿绿鬃毛.
A golden-haired variant found in 忘却溪谷 and dropping the 灵长猿金鬃毛.
