The icon indicating an Art inflicts Smash
Smash is a status in 异度神剑 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. It causes a Launched target to be smacked down to the ground, inflicting massive damage. Smash is instantaneous. Arts that inflict Smash are designated by a large white downwards arrow.
When an 敌人 is Smashed, its 吹飞 condition is immediately ended and can therefore act, but it does take a moment to pick itself up. Smashing an 敌人 deals additional damage and causes it to drop things it would have dropped when killed, along with a Large HP Potion. Inflicting Smash can also preserve 异刃连击s by increasing the duration of the combo, boost the Party Gauge, and increase damage dealt to the 敌人. Damage dealt by Smashing is increased during 异刃连击, dealing more damage the higher the current level of the combo. Damage dealt by Smashing can be increased with Spiked Pauldrons, Hero Pauldrons, Jet Pauldrons, or Consul Pauldrons.
