「该去做的事」 is 劳's fourth 牵绊 in 异度神剑X. It takes place in the morning in the 住宅区, in the field north of the 教堂 and east of the 净水厂.
Dialogue
- 劳
- "Ah, Cross."
- "I was just doing some target practice. We may be mimeosomes, but our skills still weaken if we don't stay in shape."
- Cross
- Choice A – Propose: Suggest 劳 give 慎吾 some firearms training.
- 劳
- "I'm sure there are lots of things I could teach 慎吾 that'd give me a chance to sharpen my own skills."
- "But honestly, I don't have that kind of time right now."
- "And besides, his fighting style and mine are just too different. He'd benefit more from being trained by a specialist."
- "Though I bet that sounds like I'm just making excuses, doesn't it?"
- Cross
- Choice B – Inquire: Ask 劳 why he hasn't been around much lately.
- 劳
- "Everyone's got something they're supposed to be doing."
- "Tell me, when you go on a mission that you know will put lives at risk, do you bring 琳 and 塔兹 along? Or do you leave them behind?"
- "I might be able to use your experience to guide my own decision."
- "I can't tell you all the details, but I've got that hanging over me just like you and 艾尔玛 do."
- Cross
- Choice A – Refute: Stress the importance of caring for your team.
- 劳
- "Huh..."
- "Doug said the exact same thing."
- "Look, I get it. 扎登, 蒙多, and 慎吾... They're dear friends to me, and I trust them completely."
- "I'd never take them for granted."
- "Maybe I haven't made that very 晴天. I'll try to tell them a little more about what's going on."
- "...There. Are you 高兴 now?"
- "If you're satisfied that you've meddled enough in my business for one day, I have to be going."
- "It's almost time for me to meet 扎登."
- "Catch you later."
- (END)
- Cross
- Choice B – Reaffirm: Show 劳 your support. (+ ♥)
- 劳
- "No more questions? You're not gonna pump me for details?"
- "Thanks for that, Cross. Your trust means a lot to me."
- "Listen, if you get a chance, could you give 慎吾 a hand with his training?"
- "I know he'd be excited to work with someone as skilled as you, and I'm sure there are plenty of things you could teach him."
- "Thanks. I appreciate it."
- (END)
