Blocked User

When blocking a user, this template can be used by Administrators to meet the requirements in the Code of Conduct to provide information about the reason for, and duration of, a block when. The Administrator should place it in a message on the blocked user's message wall.

Use of this template by non-Admins may be construed as an attempt to impersonate an Administrator. Impersonating another user is a violation of Wikia's Terms of Use, and thus a Severe Rules violation per the 异度神剑 Wiki Code of Conduct. Severe rules violations can result in an immediate block of up to 3 months.

Usage

This template has two parameters:

duration indicates how long the block will last. The parameter is placed in a sentence, so it should list a duration (1 day, 1 month, etc.) instead of a date (January 1, 2019).
reason is the reason the user was blocked.

Note: This template does not have a place for Administrators to provide links to specific edits or comments which lead to the block. It is left to a blocking Administrator to decide where to place those links when using this template.

When calling this template, an Admin is strongly encouraged to use Template Substitution. If substitution is not used, messages previously left will be changed if the template is ever updated, which could upset or 迷惑 some users.

Contacting an Admin

Unless you were blocked for bullying or harassment, you should be able to reply to this message during your block. However, as a show of good faith and respect for the rules of this community, it is strongly recommended that you wait at least 48 hours before doing so.

If you are unable to reply to this message, or you receive no response within 36 hours to your reply, you may attempt to contact one of this wiki’s administrators on their message wall at Community Central. You should not attempt to contact an administrator anywhere else 其它 than Community Central. You should leave one message and wait at least 72 hours before leaving another.

What Not To Do

Under no circumstances should you attempt to evade your block by creating a new account. Block evasion is a violation of this wiki's Code of Conduct, and is grounds for extending your original block. Additionally, block evasion often makes administrators angry, which can make it more difficult for them to judge any appeals in an impartial manner.
