The Monado Awakens (モナド発動, Monado Reacts) is an Event Track in 异度神剑, composed and arranged by ACE+. It is track 7 of disc 1 from the 异度神剑 Original Soundtrack. This music plays in a couple cutscenes, first when Reyn attempts to wield the Monado in the 武器 Development Lab in Colony 9 but can't 魂控 it. More ominously, it later plays when the party reaches the Central Factory in the Mechonis for the second time, via 垃圾, and Shulk collapses in agony, struggling with the Monado in an unprecedented manner.
