尖额猿

尖额猿 (Japanese: トルト, Toruto) are huge quadrupedal creatures in 异度神剑X. They are similar to 岩猿, but with more pointed heads and 复数部位 eyes.

Description

Group 猎人 and 交谈 creatures that often live in packs of 10 or more. The larger 女性 physique relegates 男性 to the bottom of the hierarchy, with the strongest 女性 assuming the role of 领导. Should she perish, her eldest 女儿 will then assume command.

In the rare case that no 女性 are available, the largest 男性尖额猿 will step up to the task, undergound a process of sequential hermaphroditism which spans the next few months. At the end of the period, he will emerge as a fully functional 女性.

Characteristics

Much like 岩猿, 尖额猿 have a quadrupedal ape-like stance and sharp 爪击 that face upward. Their heads have a pointed nose-like projection and a smaller mouth. When their foreheads are destroyed, a shiny gem-like structure is exposed. Their skin has several patches of stratified flesh that resemble muscle fibers. Unlike 岩猿, their four eyes have distinct 弟弟子 and sclera.

尖额猿 act much like 岩猿. At least one instance of a territorial standoff can be seen on the 北海沿道 between a pair of 尖额猿.

Color Variants

尖额猿 fall into two color variants:

An orange coloration found in 夜光森林 that can drop the 尖额猿合金板.
A purple and mauve coloration found in 白树大陆 that can drop the 尖额猿紫合金板.
