The 维塔 is a Ganglion Doll and a Main Boss in 异度神剑X. It is 路克萨尔's personal Doll. It is fought at level 50 in the 生命舱核心's 内部 during 第12章.
During the second round, seven 机械型 bosses assist the Vita: the 兴奋剂, link, Pursuit Alpha, Pursuit Beta, Pursuit Gamma, 盾, and 「袭」卫星es. If enough time elapses, the 维塔 can resummon these bosses.
After the completion of 第12章, it can be fought again in the 限时任务 暗物质幻影. However it must be fought with ground gear, as Doll are not allowed in Time Attack 任务. The Vita's sword, DARK神, is obtained as a reward for this mission; it can be used and equipped as a Doll 肩 武器.

Story
The 维塔 is a mysterious alien Doll that is deified by the Ganglion, who believe it to be the divine vessel of the "Great One". The core of the 维塔 is made of dark matter, and the material of its 防具 is 未知. The 维塔 mech can break through a trion 伤害护甲 by ramming into it at a high speed, and transform its 防具 and weaponry into wings.
The 维塔 was first seen in the opening cutscene between the war between two alien races, participating in combat. The purple bursts that explode on the Earths surface seem to originate from the mech.
At some point, the 维塔 had been abandoned in 石臼岩盘 in 夜光森林. The Ganglion attempted to retrieve it several times, but they could not defeat the 污染 creatures in the area.
In 第6章, 艾尔玛, Cross, 琳, and 劳 are sent on a mission to extract the mech, to keep the Ganglion from getting it. The 维塔 was brought to the Restricted 停机库 in NLA to be studied. 劳 claims to not detect any radiation coming from the 维塔, but 艾尔玛 thinks she senses the lingering ghost of the original pilot. She also recognizes it as "their handiwork" rather than the Ganglion's, but who "they" are is not specified.
In 第8章, the Ganglion invade NLA for the sole purpose of taking the 维塔. 劳 is the one who leaked to them where it was. During the attack, 劳 has Team Belisarda leave their station at the 隔离格纳库前, so that 王's team would be the only ones left guarding it. 加·德尔格 and 加·博 are easily able to defeat the 防守 and steal the 维塔.
It is later piloted by 路克萨尔 during 第12章 in order to stop the 人类 before they could get back their real bodies. 路克萨尔 is able to withstand piloting the 维塔 because he has the blood of the Great One in his veins, though he cannot use it to its full 潜力. He uses the 维塔 to break through the trion 伤害护甲 surrounding the 生命舱核心 and attack the party. 艾尔玛 points out that the mech was incomplete and that an important component is missing. 路克萨尔 uses both forms of the 维塔 when fighting the 人类. In the middle of the battle, he swings its sword at them, but misses and breaks a hole in the floor. After being defeated, the 维塔 explodes. 路克萨尔 manages to escape the smoking wreck, but 劳 impales him. The 维塔 falls through the hole it made, and sinks into the protoplasmic fluid, along with 路克萨尔 and 劳.

Additional Details
"The fearsome Doll that Elma's team fought in the 生命舱核心. It lashed out with a multitude of 卫星 units, but finally fell into a 墓碑 of protoplasmic fluid."
Appearance
The 维塔 is first seen as a heavily damaged Doll that was assumingly abandoned. However, once it was brought back into Ganglion possession and used against Elma's team, its appearance became more distinguishable; the mech boasted heavy brownish (but damaged) 防具 and was slightly larger than an average Doll.
However, once it transforms into a more powerful state, its appearance takes a more slender, skinnier form. Because of it being made of dark matter, its outer color is purple with a soft flowing/aura motion within its skin. Its 防具 is now shed and is moved to the back; its finger, body, and flight boosters in the previous form shifted to form wings that are attached directly to the mech that can be destroyed. Overall, the form takes a more offensive approach as it has has access to more 武器 and its knees are able to detach and be used as lasers.
Etymology
维塔 in the real world has several meanings, one being the Latin word for "life". 维塔 is also a term used to describe a biography/legacy of a saint. In the Italian version of the game, 维塔 is called Vitarth instead.
